In the “Pilot”, we are introduced to John Amsterdam who happens to be a brilliant New York homicide detective and immortal at the same time. John will only start aging once he finds his true love which hasn’t happened for the past 400 years of his life. John will be accompanied by a homicide partner named Eva Marquez.
